The $2.7 million that the jury awarded the plaintiff was equal to two days of McDonalds coffee sales...coffee only. No much cost/benefit analysis needed there. The case was settled, which is why no one knows all the facts of this case.
I have noticed that Toyota is starting to take the dumb "professional driver closed course do not attempt" disclaimer off of its car commercials....will the others follow suit?
