it is about a chyrsler... one based on an older mb chassis too

:?: A Honda guy dissing another car for chassis sharing? Boy, talk about irony Tongue

But anyway, to the original poster, someone made an excellent point that heavily modifying the car will severely affect your resale value. If its a car that you don't plan on selling in the next 5 years go for it but keep in mind that you're not going to get back even 50% of the money you'd be putting into modifying it. Even if you remove the aftermarket parts and sell them separately its still a huge hit.

However, if you've peered deep into the future and don't feel like there is any other car out there now or on the horizon that you would be happier with for your money, and you truly would enjoy heavily modifying the car then go for it. I'd recommend having access to a second car (if only a beater) if you're gonna go this route.

Also, I have to put out the obligatory 'try it at the track' before you upgrade advice. You might find that you could have a tremendously more fun just mildly upgrading the car and tracking it, as many of us have. Its a great handling car so I'm sure it'll be more than worth it to take it out.
