If that were true, no car projects would ever get finished. If you dont set a budget and/or timeline for yourself you will be hopelessly lost in project car hell and never get the thing running.

From what I see, they've put a lot of time into making the car reliable and looking good - with a rebuilt turbo that you know what to expect from, there's no reason, IMO, to start worrying about it. Its not like its a hard thing to change later, and the cost of upgrading later isnt any different than upgrading now. Its not like he's putting a pos non turbo junkyard engine that has a spun bearing in it.
