analysis after my first track event with this car; my thoughts and observations:
I really enjoyed driving this car. It handles great for a FWD econobox shitpile, and the stock seats rock. It is a bit underpowered, but that is alright. Suspension was good, but still has a bit left to be desired by me. I'm going to try clean it up a bit and make it perform better, as well as fix some stuff I didn't get to before this first event.
-front wheel bearing is going out. I had felt an occaisional wiggle that quickly went away. Now it wiggles and squeals; I have a feeling VIR finished the job :-)
-needs more power
-handling is good, but still leaves a bit to be desired
-slow, needs more power
-developed a small exhaust leak over the weekend as well. Not much, but it is noticeable. Kinda sucks cuz I really enjoyed driving around a silent car. Guess that streak is over :-D

Things I want to do to the car in the near future
-front wheel bearing
-replace engine mounts
-suspension goodies?
-battery relocation to trunk
-clean up rust on top, replace sunroof molding, paint car
-replace dash bulbs
-exhaust
-remove PS
-roll bar with harnesses
-possibly remove AC, but will probably wait until after summer is over
