Our pros werent that bad.. there was some micromanaging but it wasn't that mean, just annoying. One of our guys was Shauna Marinus's boyfriend (why couldn't we have gotten Shauna), and the other "pro" generally left us alone.
However, at 5:30 when there were no more paying customers, the "pros" started playing the whose dick is bigger game, taking about 10 runs each (not on the real course mind you, just on our little skill course) trying to hit 14. They had been saying "14's are possible" but despite running it a total of about 10 times the best I'd seen them do was 15.2. Carlos finally hit a 14.6 after about 20 minutes of me sitting there. THEN we had to take down the course.
#1 fucking rude, since I had been practically begging to have a couple runs just to see what I could do. It's aggravating as hell watching everyone do it, know how to do it and not being able to. The only run they let me have was in the pouring rain on Saturday. On Sunday (in the DRY) they give us shit about "we're not sure you signed the waiver". EAT ME!
#2 it meant we had to leave a half hour later instead of getting a half hour worth of work done ahead of time. They told us it only went til 6. My ass.
Additionally the orange shirt woman, after 15 minutes of cone stacking, told me to make sure the piles were "squared"...
Ah well.. at least they are not taking taxes out.. $345 for the beater fund.
