lets open a can of worms here... whats wrong with wrapping belts? if the fastener is on them, it would spread out any tension on the belt along the contact surface of a bar as opposed to that little clip. i dont see how thats worse but i'm no expert. perhaps i'm not thinking of something obvious here?
well, I'm not 100% sure how you are going to attach the sub belt by 'wrapping' it around the seat bracket, also, I don't know where that bracket is, now, if these are 6pt belts the 'proper' way to mount them is to use the same bolts that you used to mount lap belts. I'm guessing you are using that pro solo seat which don't really allow this very easily. so, you need to mount the sub belts in line with those bolts, this come up being the rear seat bolt mounts.
Is the seat bar that you want to wrap it around smooth (belt won't get cut when stretched)? How are you going to attach it?
