My connection at home is faster than 56k, but sometimes not by much. Many times I turn off remote image loading just to speed things up. Here at work I'm tunnelled via SSH to a proxy server, which isn't *blindingly* fast either. I appreciate knowing when a thread contains several extremely large pictures. And I hardly ever click on anything in the appearance/cosmetic forum
