This is rediculous. The overwhelming majority of people in high leadership positions in the corporate world (director+) have some form of secondary degree. It's not necessary... but it can be that extra boost you need to move into the position. Is it worth it to everyone?? No. Lots of people will advance rapidly despite their lack of an Ivy MBA. It depends on what you want to do. Most importantly, don't grab an MBA because mommy and daddy told you it was the way to go.
