I posted this in the Honda-Tech thread, but you do not want to powdercoat any stressed aluminum parts (ie- wheels)
The high heat, and more specifically, quick heat up and quick cooldown, weakens the aluminum. Many reports of failed (new) wheels just a few track sessions after powder coating.
properly powdercoated wheels are done in very expensive temperature controlled ovens that slowly raise and lower temperature
