Anyone ever sat through a hurricane? I've always wanted to, just to wittness the event.

I lived on Treasure island in the Gulf in FL for 6 years, no full hurricanes but tropical storms. My house flooded 3 times in thosse 6 years. You do not want to be in that kind of place for a direct hit from a big storm. You get stuck real quick as the bridge approaches flood and you cannot leave even if you want to.
