AWD DSM: So what, I'm infected with b00st. This would be a badass daily driver and seems to be pretty reliable, definitely easy to make faster.
No comment aside from what I made bold... BAHAHAHAHA... Maybe you didn't read my other thread where I said I was at Chris Hawley's today and not one, but two DSMs were sitting in his garage on jackstands with motors and various stages of disassembly.
Civic: Probably keep the stock motor for a while and TRY to blow it up, resulting in the need to do a swap. Probably an early-mid 90s. Easy on gas, not the fastest in the world, but still a lot of fun.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - the perfect car for a college student. Easy to make fast, fun as hell even relatively stock, easy on gas, low insurance cost.
S13 240: Rex has really gotten me interested in these. Fun to drive, easy to work on, ample aftermarket, RWD, not too bad on gas, looks terrific, cheap to buy and maintain.
Ugly.
WRX: Great to get around town, b00st, still pretty far out of my budget though.
Ummm, about $15k too far out of your budget. Stick with something you don't need to make payments on.
vtAk prelude: sweet looking car, not slow, don't know too much about it though.
Very nice car, bit of a premium on them, higher insurance, not as many parts available.
E36: probably the only BMW that I actually like, although I know absolutely nothing about them or what kind of options they had. Pipe in here guys, you know me pretty well and what I would like. I also recognize it's probably out of the price range, but good to keep it in mind.
One in decent condition is probably out of the price range, but looking at a busted one that runs well might be doable. Awesome cars, motor will feel almost the same as your IV's.
