Alison and I are selling her 1983 Honda Nighthawk 650 for $800. It runs well, handles well, and is a TERRIFFIC starter bike. It is the most balanced bike I've ever ridden. It is also very comfortable. It's very quick too, much more than one would think. It almost keeps up with her brother's Katana 600.
It has a brand new deep blue paint job on the fender, tank, and rear farrings. New seat and cover, New valve cover gasket, master cylindar has been rebuilt, new brake pads, all fluids changed, new grips, new mirrors, rebuilt clutch master cylindar and slave cylindar, and lots of other misc new parts. We have way more in the bike than what we're selling it for. It was mostly a project that we could work on together and one that she could learn to ride on. The carbs (all 4 of them!) are rebuilt, and very nicely tuned and balanced.
It does smoke a fair amount when its idling. The valve seals are known to leak on these bikes. Also it would need new tires if you planned on doing any serious riding. It starts great and I have always made sure it was well maintained. Clean title, ready to ride!
I'll get some pics soon. In the mean time, it looks like this but dark blue, sometimes dark purple depending on the sun.
