Still not a fan of the new grill or taillights. The chin spoiler looks pretty clean though. I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with a better looking grill-piece.
I like the feel of the '05 STi over the '04, from a pure performance standpoint I think I'd still be quicker in the '05 STi than the standard Evo I've driven. The corner exit scrabble on the '05 was pretty impressive, felt most like a RWD car if you give up a little on entry and then boot the gas to rotate the back end. The Evo seems to dive into corners a little better, but the '05 STi exits better. Nevermind the low-mid grunt if you do get off a corner at 3000rpm where the Evo would take longer to come onto power. I think it's driving style-dependent.
