I kinda wonder about this statement, "Evo is a purpose-built chassis; although it's "evolved" from the base Lancer, it's got TONS of reinforcements throught the car."
Of course it has tons of reinforcements, it was built off a $12000 car. The base model Impreza was born with much more sporting intentions than the base Lancer so its only natural that the Impreza chassis would need less structural reinforcement.
Of course I haven't seen a side to side comparison on a chassis dyno so I'm just shooting in the dark but that statement sounded a little suspect to me.
