How does that back up your statement about a spinning engine not having enough force to slow a car? That has nothing to do with brakes. Im not arguing that braking wont slow a car down faster than engine braking, believe me, I know this quite well.
A spinning engine creates a lot of friction and forces that can slow a car.
you suggested otherwise, so i suggested a simple exercise. then you threw in something unrelated with brakes and jackstands or something. explain.
