govt employees and cell phone usage

i dont know how many of you actually work for the govt and not just govt contracts, but if you go into your wireless service provider with a govt ID, they should give you a discount every month. i just found out about this recently and went in yesterday. they told me i'll be saving 19% every month. for all i know, maybe it is good with govt contractors too. just passing the info along.
