According to RJ, the track surface down there is very abrasive and eats tires up. Since then we've put at least 3000 miles on 'em and they've held up very well. Excellent, excellent grip in the dry. They just stick - and for ~$300 mounted/balanced, can't go wrong there. I think I liked the Traction T/A's better in the rain though, can't quantify why (and of course it was a different car).
