I agree with you on the stying, very unique and futuristic. Some people don't like them but then again some people don't like the Ducati 749/999 either.
Don't really know why Yamahahas are cheaper. They're not crap bikes that's for sure. If you got an R6 I don't think you'd be disappointed.
thats weird that other things would fail on the bike. just looking at the thing it was built like a brick shithouse. every piece on the bike was metal besides one vanity plate on the gas tank. all the buell's looked very solid, but that was just from a visual inspection. i am gonna check around about them.
just looking on ebay for some prices yamahas are very cheap compared to other bikes (gsx, gsx-r, ninja, cbr...etc) i've seen alot of 5 year old low milage yamahas selling for like 2k, where the others are 4-5k. i didn't know if this was because of poor craftsmanship or poor performance. you usually get what you pay for.....
