Enthusiasm is what makes everything happen, in spite of whatever obstacles have come in our way. Maybe I don't have a realistic view of the committment and enthusiasm in the club but from where I sit there is more than enough to make this successful.

Quote:DonÔÇÖt get me wrong, this is a good deal. I just think it might be a bit outside our means at this time to jump on it without a more in-depth plan on what needs to be done to get and keep the cars and what to do with them once we have them (performance wise).

Several times in the history of the club we have taken on challenges that we weren't sure we could handle and came out on top. These times turned out to be some of the most rewarding experiences of my life. You'll never know what you are truly capable of unless you challenge your limits. The same goes for MM. This club is capable of achieveing things much greater than what we've done to this point, but that means we are going to have to take on challenges that may seem to be too big.

I agree that a lot of planning has to go into this in order to be successful. The ad hoc approach definitely won't cut it for long. I think it'd be safe to pull the trigger on snatching the deal now but we need to get on working out the project management and logistics issues soon. With the combined talent, creativity and experience in the club I really don't feel uncomfortable with us taking on this project. I know some are concerned about the money but like I've said before, we can raise the money if we try.
