You really ought to look into the cost of parts/ownership/repairs - it really is not that bad. Its certainly not a "great deal". I put $200 in parts into mine and hasnt needed anything the 13k miles i've put on it since christmas.
yeah i remember talking to hunter about the parts for the e36 and they didn't seem that far off parts for the honda (brake rotors, pads, other basic stuff). The only thing that might cause me problems would be the computer/electrical work, but i'm hoping that won't be the case when looking for an m3 with fewer mileage.
