Canon ZR60.

This is what I have, however. If I were you, I'd get a Sony (or better canon) that has the inputs for a remote on/off switch. This way when you are strapped in the belts w/ your helmet on and they start sending people out on grid all you have to do is push the button on the dash and not unbuckle and reach back to turn on the camera. I've been going down the front straight trying to hook the 6pt before, and it ain't fun.

This is the setup that I was using for the remote camera,

(Bullett Cam - http://www.chasecam.com/bulletcam.htm)
(The one I was using was a prototype, I don't think he is actually producing it yet, Hi-Res)
Then I had this mount,

And this mount,

This is the button I was talking about,

You will also want a mic (or two if you want to do stero).

Also get a DC adapter, don't fuss w/ batteries, that camera will EAT them like no business. Hardwire power if you have to. I think the whole setup that I have runs about 350 minus the camera. So that leaves another 250 for a decent video recorder.

He is actually working on a solid state device that you hook the camera into and it records digital video directly to a memory device, then you plug that into a computer and have the raw AVI's. (http://www.chasecam.com/pdr/) No price so I assume it isn't finished yet. Saves time downloading the video to a computer (in real time) and keeps you from having to have a camera mount. This will be my next video related purchase.
