It's a good idea. We've had alot of good ideas. I read GRM and I'm amazed of some of the stuff people have pulled off. There was a first gen RX-7 with a JDM Turbo I motor, 12A carb'd turbo. Idled at 3000 rpm's because of the 911 turbo fuel pump he used.
There was also a rear-drive chevy small block powered CRX that came in under 1500. That's the kind of thing we're up against. The 2004 challenge finally saw the breaking of the 10 second mark (10.659) in the quarter with 4 cars in the 11's.
I think we'll see slower drag times in the 2005 challenge and prettier cars now that the drag and auto-x times are combined. It's really exciting though, I hope we can pull something together, even if we have to push it through everything!
