JohnC Wrote:- reattach IC brackets on passenger side
- reattach fender liners
- install new brake pads, bed them in
- hammer AIV tubes shut, after failing to loosten them with a propane torch (need oxy....)
- drive the piss out of the car
Me and Maeng got the stuff listed above done today... Drove it around for half an hour - still have some funky stuff going on with the driver's side front wheel/caliper assembly making a thumping noise *after* a hard stop, but only for about 20 seconds.. Hard to repeat it. The new pads and rotors are AWESOME. Makes your eyeballs pop out to step on the brakes. Now the tires are definitely the limiting factor. Also reconnected a vacuum line that had come off, and located what looks to be a minor oil leak on the passenger side exhaust valve cover seal... Argh. That can wait though.
My two feet.
