got anything to back this up? There's oilable filters out there that are said to filter BETTER than paper. Sure, the K&N's aren't one of them, but man, they sure have been around for a LONG time, and I don't see people killing their engines with them. Not to mention the fact that oilable filters are often used in heavy equipment, off road racing, stuff that's exposed to massive amounts of dirt and crap.... why have they been using them for so long?
On the other hand, I saw a BMW engine head full of silt after using a high flow foam filter, something that never happened when we were using K&N's..... :|
