So yeah I guess it's a walkout basement. Not sure why anyone bothered calling that part of the crawlspace but that's what was on the listing and disclosure. Just seems like a huge waste not to try and utilize it to some degree.

There's likely very good reasons that you'll soon find out, after driving yourself absolutely fucking insane.

I'm insane, not stupid. If a reputable builder tells me it can't be done, then I'm not doing it.
