had to go full Leeroy and Pilot Sport 4S's are on order. Costco was running them $110 off until tomorrow and by the time i factored mount and balance + tax on the Contis, i was within about 50 bucks of the Michelins, with a worse treadwear warranty. and considering i only drive about 6-8k miles a year, i feel like the sting will be long gone when i'm thinking of replacing them 4 or 5 years from now.
gonna try to sell the stock wheels/tires for $250 just to get them gone. i feel like that's reasonable for tires with about 10-12k miles left on them and considering someone will likely talk them down to 200.
really looking forward to the all around performance of the PS4S's especially in the rain. i've never owned a really "gold standard" performance tire. discount, used, off brand, you name it...time to do it right i guess.
