I had the G-Max tires on the z3 in fatty stock sizes and they're OK. For the same price (or a little more) I'd go with the Conti ECS tires as well.

I have the EC DWS06 tires and they're pretty good on grip/comfort/etc. It seems the ECSs are even better for grip.
