had a TREAT YO SELF moment last night.
ampliforms inbound. 17x8, bronze.
planning to wrap them with 280-340TW tire that has good rain traction and isn't a droning hairy animal on the highway. i'll take snappy response over peak grip. so far the General G-MAX looks very promising, especially for the price. also have my eye on the Conti ExtremeContacts and Advan Fleva 701s, although the Contis are said to have a sloppy sidewall and the Flevas give up rain grip. not willing to spend PS4S money and they'd go to waste on the roads i drive 95% of the time anyway. Indy500's look promising but they seem to also have weak rain grip and people seem really divided on them. i put about 6-8k miles a year on it. any suggestions in a 225/45-17?
