Paint ages. It took three months to match my ducktail on the 911 to the body paint. They had to call in an adviser from PPG to figure out a way to match without having to blend other parts of the car. The paint on the body is <8 years old and is a factory Porsche color... and the color match still isn't exactly right when you look at it with polarized sunglasses on.
