well we sent our Kurdish allies straight to the wood chipper in the name of "bring home the troops" and now like 4 weeks later Al Assad base is getting shelled, planes scrambled, and it looks like we're headed for an actual conflict. convenient timing what with the 'ol impeachment and all that. hope i'm wrong, but just like the spoilers leaked for season 8 of GOT, everything that seems too impossibly absurd to happen just keeps coming true.
