Haggerty is a joke. They will only insure an antique if you have more cars than drivers in the house. They refused to give me a quote when we were a one DD car household years ago. They said the risk I'd drive the 911 when in a pinch was too high if my wife had the other car... thereby negating the "pleasure" purpose. They didn't care that I commuted to work by bus.
I check prices every year just to make sure I'm not wasting money, but they've never beaten Geico. I pay $311 every 6, mostly because I have $50k of coverage (including underinsured motorist) and an aggressive collision plan in case my wife t-bones one of the many overly expensive cars that drive around Seattle. (Our cars are all on the same plan - she doesn't drive the 911.)
I'm convinced it's designed for guys who only drive their cars to one concours a year and are worried about their garage burning to the ground.
