I'd been dragging my feet on re-quoting insurance. When I added the benz Allstate wanted $700+ for 6 months for it. Brought the Van, suv and wagon up to 1400/6 months. Progressive, with increased liability and a lower deductible was $535/6 months. Still need to move homeowners since allstate will scrap the 40% discount they were 'giving' me, but gotdang that's a significant change in rates.
Gave allstate a chance to match, and the guy was like, there's nothing I can do, go with them. Doesn't' seem to make the best business sense, but whatever.
