That, and I've never spent more than $26k on a car before. Seems like a very 'adult' purchase that makes me uncomfortable. Despite having a super nice house, a marriage, a respectable job, I'm still more comfortable showing up in a VW or operating on the fringes with a vintage honda motorcycle than a Porsche. Maybe I'd just rather flaunt pink shirts than expensive things. See signature for that, though, and that's another thread for another time.
I fired off another email for a 997 this morning, though. There's also a high mile car locally on craigslist that's (relatively) dirt cheap that I might see if he's around this weekend.
