I didnt notice this before.  And I gotta say, what the actual fuck?

It’s actually really really nice. Why waste all the console space for a typical shifter?

Ram gear selector, “Rambox”, and Uconnect really impressed me.

if it's all electric by designation there's no need for a huge traditional-looking gear selector. it really opens up the area between the seats. Some of the newer cars/SUVs are also using buttons for auto selection for drivetrain operation. Makes sense.

I first saw this in my Coworker's 2017 or 2016 RAM Longhorn and thought it was neat.
