end of an era.  one of the best looking GTI's IMO.  you got a good one.

i showed her off to a guy on Saturday who intends to buy if after we agreed on a price. She gets delivered Tuesday (tomorrow) pending any last minute issues with either me or him. i'll be dropping her off and riding my bike back home since he lives in Vienna just off the trail i take to and from work on my bike commutes.

i got all the feels when i realized it's been with us for so long. I was dating Alissa when i bought the car, we rescued Bisou (dog) and brought her home in the car, and drove Alissa and my daughter after she was born from the hospital in the car. Aside from the carbon build up issues it has been a fantastic car to own. The guy is actually buying it for his HS and soon to be college-aged kids, so i doubt it's done having fun. The potential buyer was impressed by its condition since he's been shopping around for one and appreciated the detailed history notes i've taken and shared with him. he seems to know what he's doing as he owns a MK7 GTI and he insinuated that he also owns a 911 (wearing a PCA shirt).
