I've always thought the same thing, only thing that comes to mind is the wheel/tire size. Since they are so small usually 14-15" range. They are spinning significantly faster and with that is more heat which causes the bearings/grease to wear quickly. So, 3-4k tow miles is like double or triple, but still it's not like a lot of miles
