I know I'm proud of you, for what that's worth. Get your shit un-fucked and show those twerps with the vtec jaws what's what.
I almost cried when we missed the race Sunday. Kaan, Sylvia, and I busted our asses Saturday just to get track time for Kaan, and after what happened I really wanted him to make every session. 4 out of 5 ain't bad though. Certainly better than most would accomplish. A lot of guys told us they'd have packed it up for the weekend.
Funny thing about the haters though... We literally just wanted track time. He was driving a parachute. He was slow and zero data was accurate as soon as the glass was removed. Zero.
Whatever. Be the bigger man, and one day someone will need something and they'll be grateful that you encouraged them to tough it out or ever helped them get their car back out.
you and me both... i'm glad you guys hung back while i walked to the shad to watch the race. i'm WAY TOO competitive to sit back.
the car was such a parachute. i usually shift to 5th before the kink (see the video)... after the windshield i had to shift after the kink. hopefully the JY calls back and says the glass is out. one of the guys from the church is going to install it for a beer lol

the gators are vented. the DSS road race and Insane Shaft road race both said DONT vent them.
the hole in the Insane shaft is relatively small... and a theory is part of the cage might have caused it. it might be 3 inches and follows the length of the boot and not in the creases
