Unfortunately competition brings out the worst in people and you really do need a thick skin.  It's really a shame that those who stick with racing a long time tend to have really thick skin, a correlation that isn't lost on me.  

Who knows, 3 years from now these same guys giving you shit could be your "best friends".  It sometimes just takes people a little time to get used to the unknown. I have definitely had people who accused me of cheating later become friends.
