I’ve been using a $20 Harbor Freight torque wrench since my freshman year of college and barring a few times that it has failed to catch and you had to reposition, I’ve been happy with it. I don’t think I’d trust it to torque spec a full engine rebuild, but for lug nuts and water pumps and such, it’s been fine. Honestly though, in my old age laziness, lug nuts now basically get 2 or 3 good ugga duggas and I move on.
