190whp sounds about perfect with b16/typeR gears. Since I autocross so much I fell into the trap of "infinite power and no brakes are fine" and after my first track day around 200whp on CX brakes I decided I cant track the car without proper brakes and took last year off for track days and just focused on autocross. Im hoping to do more track days than AX days this year but we'll see how that works out. This will be my first real track day on R888Rs so I'm excited because they grip like crazy at the circuitcrosses we do at NCCAR.

Since this is my first run with NASA they stuck me in HPDE 1 which is a bummer as my last track day they put me straight into HPDE2 since I have so much AX/circuitcross experience and that pace seemed perfect, even if getting held up by z07s/hellcats driving slow.  I still dont have my instructor assigned yet, you're not an instructor for HPDE1 are you? I'll request you if so :-P

I might have the B16/ITR gear next year. Right now I'm on a USDM GSR with a 4.928 FD and Mfactory plate diff.

are you on Spoon Calipers? you should be able to brake at the 3-3.5 mark... I'm on the ITR/Mini setup and can get on the 3 marker (but AIM says I'm only running 122ish mph down the straight).

they have changed the HPDE 1, 2, and 3 system with NASA. HPDE 2 (i think) is where they start throwing drills at you. they need to make sure you are good to go before they start letting you play.
