Ehhhh it's a little bit of column A and a little of column B here. On the one hand, yeah, if you do the math the car doesn't make "sense". You can buy faster/newer/better handling for less.
On the other, if you're a rabid E38 fan with cash to burn, who are we to balk at you spending it on a supercharged, S62 swapped low mile 1 of 1 beauty?
Enthusiast cars are subjective, emotionally-driven purchases. One man's wtf moment is another man's dream ride. FWIW I'd rather have a M5, yeah, but I don't even take the time to bat an eye at most sales, BaT or not these days.
