If you dont want the extreme viewpoint, kick the taxation is theft dont tread on snek people out of the Libertarian party.

I wish people who are on the taxation is theft boat would start their own country where there are no taxes and see how everything turns out.  It would be a great experiment in government and if it succeeds it will boost Libertarianism around the world.  At the very least I'm sure businesses would love to incorporate there.

the taxation is theft people are really "why do we have unmeasured spending" people who like to stir the pot.

We can spend a fortune on stuff pretty easily, and we do... and we don't even have a cost benefit on what we are spending. and then we cant even take in as much as we spend (as a government).

The don't tread on me is more of a ... governments big enough, try to figure out the stuff you are screwing up now before you take on new stuff.
