Goes to some review board, who will fine you. If you dont pay the fine they put a lien on the house.
Now, I agreed to 90 days with the buyer. Reston will give me 6 months to fix it.
If they fine you, do you still have to re-paint? And/or is the fine less than the cost of re-painting?
That'd probably be my fuck you way out of it, still sucks though.
I mean, even if they fine you they still have to repaint it and if you pay the fine and tell them to fuck off, the next owner will have a hard time selling it, the HOA can block providing resale documents which no lender will touch.
I havent done anything yet other than talk to a local painter who said they can match and repaint it when the weather is warmer. We talked before but they passed on trying to paint it in cold weather. Its likely that we dont see 50 degrees again until March so who knows.

Pretty sure the neighbors would be after you with pitchforks if you were out in the parking lot doing donuts in a quad brappity brap brap.
