So, I may be interested in going with a few friends, but I don't really know much about how to spectate this event, nor have I ever really watched it.
1. Is it worth it?
2. What's the right way to experience it? How many days to go, what package to get? (I saw a Grassroots Mag ticket package that got me interested)
3. Fly or Drive?
4. Hotel Suggestions?
Is anyone else going?
Thanks!
1. Absolutely positively
2. Be there for the main 24H. I don’t see you caring about Conti(now Michelin Challenge) and IMO 3 days is too long.
3. With good buddies? Road trip, it’s exhausting but fun.
4. Camp or RV, you have to figure out how to stay at the track. Grill out, drink, make it a camping trip. You want to be there at 2am when race cars are jumping into the garages for repairs and you can be real close and personal without the crowds. GRM ticket is great but usually sold out way in advance.
I went with Justin/Paul/Blair and that group. I will most likely be down there this year in some capacity
