part of the equation is also: what's the source that the spiders are after?  they're feeding on something...that's what you really want to kill.  

This.  When I see a spider I give it a virtual high five because I know its eating the shit out of some bugs.
If you have too many spiders,  then you have waaaaay too many bugs.

We have tons of crickets that get driven out of the field beside us, and grasshoppers everywhere, but they don't really bother me. Guess that's what attracting the spiders though.
