So they just walk around with a stack of listings seeing what houses are vacant? I only went to the door because the dog was going apeshit and she doesnt normally bark at anything and they were just standing on the front steps.
i'm not really sure what the tactics for criminals, but the in-laws' house is up on a hill and somewhat secluded. it's one of those 5000 sq*ft homes and could easily be broken into if vacant. the people who just rolled up to the house were surprised to see that they were home and according to them didn't look like they were there to see the house for purchase, according to them (not really sure what that means). They took the keybox off the door after that an only left it on for appointments.
