Car insurance rates and metaphorical sodomy

State farm wants like $636 every 6 mos for my wife's 2008 Elantra. That's with 2 other cars on the policy. They did the old bait and switch with the s2000. Quoted me $100 less than what they charged when I actually went to insure it. It lowered the truck to like 373 every 6mos with the multi car but think I'm still getting a little screwed. It's like $600 for the s2k. Can't understand how they want more for The Elantra. Especially since it's adding a third car for two drivers.

The multi policy discount definitely made state farm competitive on the home insurance though. Still shopping around and sounds like travelers beat them by like $60 a year but state farm does the 20% over the value of home thing and it'd be nice to have all my policy's in one place. Need to talk to them about why Elantra is so high. Would have been like $1000 a year without auto being with State farm too. Originally my real estate agent said don't even bother with State farm because so expensive (before he knew auto was with them) but he was very surprised when I told him rate.
