Formula 1: It just hasn't been the same without Schumacher
NASCAR: I used to be down for the road courses... but ehhh... I call it nap time, where if I set the volume just right, I can hear the crashes and wake up for the replay.
INDYCAR: Growing up, these were F1ish cars that drove in circles like the NASCARs did. boring.
IMSA: I'll watch IMSA because of the friends in the business. I stalk their instagram to figure out what team hired them for the race and root for that team.
WEC: I'll watch this when I can. I really enjoy the strategy of endurance racing... I know there is strategy in NASCAR that is similar, but I think the action is better with WEC... plus lets see those NASCAR teams do it for 24 hours.
WRC: I think their coverage of the races could be better. Its hard to follow when they jump around like they do at time. Also I think some of their events are in very boring environments.
Formula E: I watched the first season. I might get back into it now they the tech has moved up some. There is similar strategy stuff I like... boost buttons and all (at least they did).... the car changes were a little weird... but it made things interesting. Can you have two cars set up so similarly that the times don't fall off? it was a challenge for the builders IMHO.
I have found that I enjoy participating in motorsports a lot more than watching. even if it has me laying on ice cold concrete in the wintertime prepping the car for next season.
