what made me really look at interiors was comparing my 8 year old VW interior to carmax cars interiors in the past couple years. i've learned a lot as to what i like in an aging interior... I was surprised to see that Acura aged well as well as leather Hondas, but cloth Hondas did not. Aged Lexus interiors felt aged, aged Ford wasn't bad if it was leather (if you don't look at the climate control buttons), and the German luxury brands mostly did a good job.
