Every high end fancy pants ultra efficient EPA Free-Willy certified appliance I have had has been garbage.   I did the math on my washer and its saving me something like $5 a year.   GFY,  give me the old style appliances that actually work.

yeah, i remember when we bought our washer/dryer. we know we don't use any fancy features and bought 1 up from the bottom of the line and i think they're Samsung (i honestly don't remember). they're like something i would use in a rental unit; as long as it washes and drys our clothes i don't really care. They've been without issue for 6 years now and i think we paid less than $500 for each.
